This moss is forest moss that has been preserved with glycerine to keep it soft and supple to work with. Moss is coloured with natural pigments. As this is preserved moss it may contain a small amount of sticks, lichen and leaves as per the natural environment it originates from, although we will do our best to remove these when sending out your craft moss.
